This policy explains what data PlataStar handles, what it is used for and how you can request access, correction or deletion. PlataStar publishes listings of non-residential real estate and helps you contact whoever publishes them; it is not a real estate agency and takes no part in transactions. It is operated by Liberty Design Studio, the controller of your data. This English version is provided for convenience; if it differs from the Spanish version, the Spanish version prevails.
1. Data we handle
- Account: your email and, if you sign in with Google, your Google name and profile photo. If you create a passkey we store its public key and an identifier; the private part never leaves your device. We do not use passwords.
- Data you add: the name and WhatsApp in your profile, favorites, saved searches and the listings you publish with their photos and, if you give it, your company name. The exact address of the properties you list is not shown on the site: the listing shows the area and an approximate location.
- Requirements: your name, company, email and phone, and what you need (type of space, area, workstations, budget, areas, date and notes). They are shared with brokerages on a paid plan only if you ticked the box to share.
- Broker profiles: the company or broker name and the contact details that appear in listings are shown on their public profile, together with the listings they publish.
- Inquiries and reports: the name, email, phone and message you send from a listing or the contact page.
- Payments: Stripe receives your card details, never PlataStar. We keep the order record: plan, amount in dollars, date and email.
- Searches: the text you type in the search box and the resulting filters, to improve results. If you are signed in, they are linked to your account.
- Technical data: IP address, browser, date and path, used to run and protect the site (for example, to limit abuse).
- Cookies: your session, the language you chose (or that we detected from your browser) and your light or dark theme preference. We do not use advertising cookies.
To use the site we do not ask for documents or bank details; paying for a plan happens on Stripe.
2. What we use it for
- Giving you access to your account and keeping you signed in.
- Sending verification codes and, if you turn them on, emails about new spaces for your saved searches, in the language you use the site in. You can change how often or turn them off from your account.
- Delivering your inquiry to the owner or advertiser of the listing, and reviewing listings before they are published.
- Showing your requirement to brokerages on a paid plan, only if you allowed it.
- Charging for and recording the plans you buy.
- Understanding your search: the text you type is processed with our own rules and, when needed, with language models from external providers that receive only that text, never your email or name.
- Preventing fraud and abuse, and meeting legal obligations.
3. Listings and external sources
Listings include information entered by advertisers or obtained from public sources. We show the source when it is available. If you hold rights over published information and need it corrected or removed, write to us with the listing URL and enough detail to verify the request.
4. Providers and retention
We use Cloudflare (hosting, database, photo storage, anti-spam verification and email delivery), Google (only if you choose to sign in with Google), Stripe (only if you pay for a plan: your card details go to Stripe, never to PlataStar), Google Analytics (aggregate visit counts, IP anonymized, no ad personalization) and language model providers to interpret search text. Each processes data only to provide its service.
Search logs are deleted after 180 days; verification codes expire after 10 minutes. Your account and its data are kept while the account is active. Requirements and order records are kept as long as they are needed to run the service and to meet legal and accounting obligations.
5. Your rights
You can request access to, updating, correction or deletion of your personal data under Argentine Law 25,326. You can delete your account at any time fromyour account: we delete your data, favorites, searches and passkeys, and take down your listings. TheAgency for Access to Public Informationenforces Law 25,326 and handles complaints.
6. Security and links
We apply reasonable measures to protect information, although no system is infallible. Links to broker websites and other sources are governed by their own policies; review them before sending them information.
