Son 1.650m2 cubiertos ubicados en el piso 8vo, siendo la única planta del edificio que cuenta con una gran terraza de 211m2 y amplias vistas a otros edificios característicos del microcentro. Tiene un acceso principal y otro de servicio, además de contar con salida de emergencia independiente a éstos dos accesos. ENGLISH The Gath & Chaves building is located on Florida Pedestrian Street, five blocks from the Obelisk. Is an architectural work of incalculable heritage value, being one of the few works in Argentina by the renowned French architect François Fleury Tronquoy. The building was opened in 1908 as a large department store and inspired by the Parisian store Au Printemps. It is included in the program of restoration and lighting of facades of the Microcentro Plan of the Government of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, for which in May 2014 it was put in value by restoring the original elements and the removal of the non-original ones. The architectural lighting of the façade highlights the characteristic elements of the building, in order to emphasize the work in its entirety and give a renewed profile to the public space. 17.760 square feet on the 8th floor, being the only one in that building which has a large terrace of 2.260 square feet and wide views of other characteristic buildings of the “microcentro” area.
